Firefighters on the Yorkshire Coast were called to twin incidents in Scarborough and Gristhorpe early on Saturday morning.
First, Crews from Scarborough and Sherburn responded to felled trees on fire at a compound on Jackson's Lane, Scarborough, around 7.45am.
Officers used two hose reel jets to extinguish and stop the fire spreading to a nearby standing crop field.
The cause is believed to be deliberate and the incident is ongoing for future inspections.
Around half an hour later, firefighters from Filey responded to a commercial bin on fire at a caravan park in Gristhorpe.
They extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet with the cause believed to be accidental, from a disposable barbecue.
