Finlay Barnes, 22, joins Boro on the day it was confirmed Ashley Jackson and Jake Charles are going out on loan to Northern Premier League sides.
In a statement released a short time ago, Scarborough Atheltic said:
The young left sided midfielder, who was recently on loan at Darlington, hit double figures across two seasons for Leiston before signing for York, scoring 25 goals in 70 appearances. Barnes opted for a move to the Yorkshire Coast after interest from a fellow National League North club, with the lure of working with Jono Greening key. He is available to play against his former club tomorrow, subject to National League and FA approval.
Ashley Jackson is joining Gainsborough for a month loan.
Jake Charles is joining FC United Of Manchester for a month too.
