Filey's brand new Skate Park officially opens today.
It's cost £362,000 and is intended to cater for skateboards, BMX, scooters and wheelchair motocross.
The new fully accessible outdoor facility has been built on the western side of West Avenue, between the car park and the multi-use games area.
Filey Regeneration Officer, Zoe Kelsall, says that there is a lot for people to get involved with throughout the day.
Today's opening event takes place from 12noon to 4pm and will feature skateboard lessons for beginners, competitions, music and food.
This is the Coast will be broadcasting live from the event between 12pm and 2pm.
Zoe says that the facility has been designed to enable all abilities to get involved.
