Extra investment bought in to help clean Scarborough's streets ahead of Armed forces day did have the desired effect and is going to continue.
That's according to the Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods.
Councillor Tony Randerson says the extra cleaning effort will carry on.
Extra resources were bought in to help clean Scarborough's streets ahead of the National Armed Forces Day event last month and were used as part of the clean up operation afterwards.
Councillor Randerson thinks the town is looking better for it.
