Dog friendly cafe areas are set to be trialled at East Riding Leisure in Bridlington.
Customers will be able to enjoy a coffee and treat their faithful friend to a dog ice-cream. They will simply need to look for designated dog-friendly tables, identified by a table top sign.
Councillor Nick Coultish, the council’s Cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism, said:
“This is a great idea, and will benefit many of our customers in Bridlington and Hornsea- and their companions! We will monitor the results of this trial, and decide on the way ahead.”
The dog-friendly areas apply to selected tables in the cafe areas only, and not to the rest of the centre.
