Eastfield Medical Centre remains closed, much to the concern of a local councillor, who says it affects residents in Eastfield and Cayton.
Roberta Swiers represents the Cayton division.
She says people are suffering:
"Eastfield Medical Centre, it's been closed, it's now moved into Scarborough, temporary, but we don't know how temporary. So people from Eastfield and Cayton and the area.
"It's the most deprived area in the area, and yet we've no doctors. So they're having to go into Scarborough or have phone call appointments."
Councillor Swiers says that is of huge concern:
"It's worrying that you've got a deprived area where an elderly people area where we have no facilities.
"It is ongoing. It was an electrical fault, but this was months ago. This is a really big building, which I would hoped would be back in action."
