The NHS in North Yorkshire says it is working with the county's schools to start rolling out the COVID vaccination programme for 12-15 year olds.
Public Health Consultant Dr Victoria Turner says jabs could start as soon as next week.
Parental consent will be sought, as with existing vaccination programmes.
Meanwhile COVID Booster jabs could also start being given in North Yorkshire as soon as next week.
The third dose is being offered to those most at risk from the virus over the winter months.
