There are signs that the COVID infection rate in the Scarborough Borough may have peaked.
Cases tripled in March, but the latest data shows a slight fall in the infection rate.
Public Health Consultant Dr Victoria turner says health bosses have been getting some good data from waste water sampling which has shown a slow down in the rate of increase.
Infection rates tripled last month from 300 per 100,000 people to 900, but as public health consultant Dr Victoria turner explains the rate of increase has slowed in the last week.
The latest numbers show the infection rate in the borough is now down to 862.
