The increasing COVID infection rates on the Yorkshire Coast are not down to any one thing or any one location according to North Yorkshire's director of public health.
In the last two weeks, the seven day infection rate in the Scarborough Borough has risen from 27.6 cases per 100 thousand people to 186 on Friday.
