The COVID infection rate in Scarborough has risen further.
The latest seven day figures show 504 new cases in the Borough.
Yesterday the 7-day infection rates numbers showed that the Scarborough Borough now has the highest rate in North Yorkshire.
Today that number has increased further with the borough now having 463 cases per 100,000 people up from 402 yesterday.
The national average in England is 245.
The County Council are reaffirming the message that people must stay at home unless for essential activities.
