The local authority in North Yorkshire has reached out to try and assist those who are suffering during the Covid-19 pandemic.
North Yorkshire County Council has sent a letter to every household in the county this week setting out the support that is available for people who are alone, vulnerable or shielding.
At the same time the county's Director of Children and Young People’s Services, Stuart Carlton, is urging everyone to make sure youngsters in the county have the support they need:
