Concerns Over York & Scarborough Hospital Communication

Local politicians have expressed concerns over reports from Scarborough Hospital patients who are unable to get answers.

Scarborough and Whitby's MP is being asked to look at communication issues within the York and Scarborough NHS trust.

County Councillor Heather Philips has raised concerns about a local man who needed post operative care.

Scarborough and Whitby MP - Sir Robert Goodwill - has said he will look at what he called a "bizarre" situation.

Bed blocking also continues to be an issue in Scarborough Hospital according to the town's MP.

Long waits at the hospitals A&E are also being put down to the issue.

MP, Sir Robert Goodwill, says it's a nationwide issue.
