Two pop up events are taking place on the Cinder Track in Scarborough and Whitby today involving a smoothie making bike.
The two events will give track users the chance to hear the outcome of the recent focus group study which looked at how the cinder track is used.
The events will also give residents to try out two rather unusual cycling machines as Sarah Bradbury from Sustrans explains.
The events in Scarborough and Whitby are to give track users the opportunity to hear the results of the recent focus group work on how the track is used following concerns about conflicts between different types of user.
Danny Morris from Sustrans says the idea for the pop up events came out of the focus group work
Danny says the discussions that took place as part of the focus group work were really useful.
Anna Wild is North Yorkshire Council's Ranger for the Cinder Track, she says it's really important for Cinder Track users to have their say on how the track is used and managed.
Sarah Bradbury says today's events are about sharing information about best to use the Cinder track, and says the events will be supported with a new publicitiy campaign.
The Scarborough event takes place between 10am and midday at Gallows Field and the Whitby event from 2pm to 4pm.
