Christmas COVID Restrictions Advice for North Yorkshire Coast

"Keep it small" plea from the county's Director of Public Health

The COVID restrictions are being lifted slightly for Christmas Day tomorrow.

Up to three households can form a Christmas Day bubble on the Yorkshire Coast to celebrate the festivities.

But with the infection rate in the Scarborough Borough continuing to increase we are being warned to take all the precautions we can to keep our families safe.

Louise Wallace is North Yorkshire's director of public health.

Superintendent Mike Walker from North Yorkshire police says they will continue to enforce the rules.
