Parents and Pupils are being reminded to continue taking home COVID tests as the infection rate in the Scarborough Borough continues to increase.
Anyone connected with a School or College in the Scarborough Borough needs to carry on taking home COVID tests and needs to self isolate for the full ten days if they get a positive test result.
That's the message from health leaders in North Yorkshire as two Scarborough Schools remain closed until Tuesday after a number of pupils tested positive.
Graham School and Scarborough Sixth Form are both closed until Tuesday after a number of pupils tested positive.
North Yorkshire's Director of Public Health, Louise Wallace, says everyone connected with schools needs to carry on testing and self isolating if they get a positive result.
Public Health Consultant Dr Victoria Turner says the tests are having a positive impact.
