Firefighters assisted other emergency workers after a car crash on Abbott's Road in Whitby.
It happened around 4.45pm on Saturday
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue say a crew from Whitby responded to a request from police to assist with providing shelter to a casualty receiving treatment from ambulance crews following a road traffic crash.
Firefighters constructed a shelter and assisted ambulance crews in providing medical care and treatment to the casualty before they were transported to hospital via road ambulance.
