North Yorkshire fire officers were busy in the Scarborough area throughout the weekend.
Just after 4pm on Saturday, crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to a report of smoke in the first floor of a residential property. Officers extinguished the fire and ventilated the property.
Then at around 8.40pm that evening, on Queen Street in Scarborough, crews assisted an elderly female who had fallen on the floor and was unable to get up. The lady was not injured and did not require medical treatment.
Officers then attended a small fire in a field, at Osgodby, around 10.30pm, believed to have been caused deliberately. Crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Local crews then attended a van fire, on Sandside, in Scarborough, at approximately 6.45am on Sunday morning. The cause is believed to be a battery fault. officers used a hose reel and breathing apparatus.
