Headlands School in Bridlington is appealing to local businesses to help them fund the replacement of their ageing minibuses.
The school say their two 20 year old minibuses are wearing out and play a key role in getting over 100 students to the school each day.
Sarah Bone is the executive head.
The school are looking to replace the minibuses with newer buy second hand vehicles, the Executive Head thinks they need to raise £10,000 to £15,000 to replace just one of the ageing buses.
Sarah Bone says the minibuses have particular importance for the school, helping it to tackle some significant challenges in assisting pupils to get to school.
Sarah is asking for any local businesses who might be able to help fund the new vehicles to get in touch either via email at admin@headlandschool.co.uk, or by contacting the school's main reception on 01262 676198 and asking to either speak to Sarah Bone, or David Stamper.
Sarah adds:
"Either one of us would be more than happy to receive that phone call. Sooner rather than later, please."
