Officials from a popular Bridlington venue reveal the extent lockdown has had on their shows this summer.
The delay to the easing of lockdown restrictions has affected a number of shows and events on the Yorkshire Coast, with a number of venues having to postpone or cancel events planned for the next few weeks.
Mark Lonsdale from Bridlington Spa says they've had to make a couple of cancellations but some events can continue:
The uncertainity of lockdown struck again this week when the Prime Minister announced that four week delay to the further easing of restrictions.
For entertainment venues and event organisers the uncertainity over the last 12 months has been particularly challenging as they try to stage shows that often require months of preperation.
Mark says it's been a challenge, but he's now confident that they will be able to start a full summer season in July:
