Bridlington Town Score First Victory Under Coulson

The Seasiders won 2-0 at Bishop Auckland on Tuesday to move into the NPL East's top five.

Ahmed Salam broke the deadlock for Brid, in County Durham, after 21 minutes.

They were playing just 24 hours after previous manager Mike Thompson and assistant Andy Norfolk parted company with the club.

Michael Coulson was then appointed caretaker manager.

Tom Allan made sure of the victory with a decisive second after the interval.

Brid go to West Yorkshire next, on Saturday, when they visit Brighouse.

Kick off is 3.00pm.
