Bridlington Town left it late to claim all three points in a dramatic victory over Lincoln United, with captain Tom Allen smashing home a stoppage-time winner.
The first half was a tight affair, with chances at a premium. Lincoln created a few half openings, while Brid showed early intent with a couple of corners and a dangerous run from Destiny Nnenanya that was well blocked. Neither side could find the breakthrough before the break.
Scott Kerr’s half-time change proved crucial. Just nine minutes into the second half, Ahmed Salam made an instant impact. A clever through ball from Coulson found Nnenanya, whose cut-back was met by Salam, who fired emphatically into the roof of the net to give the Seasiders the lead.

Brid looked the more dangerous side after the goal. Casey Stewart went close with a powerful effort just wide, and Lincoln saw an offside flag deny them what they thought was an equaliser. The visitors also rattled the crossbar with a long-range strike as the pressure built.
The turning point came in the 86th minute when Lincoln were awarded a controversial penalty. Despite protests from the Brid players, the spot kick was converted to level the match at 1–1.
Tempers flared late on after a heavy challenge on Ahmed led to a straight red and a brief coming together, while deep into stoppage time the game was paused following an exchange between someone on the Lincoln bench and the Seasiders supporters behind the dugout.
But there was still time for one final twist.
In the 92nd minute, the ball fell to captain Tom Allen inside the box. He needed no second invitation, smashing his effort into the far left corner with his weak foot to send the home crowd into raptures.
There was no way back for Lincoln. Bridlington held firm through the remaining added time to secure a hard-fought and dramatic 2–1 win.
Kerr told Brid Town TV it wasn't a great performance, but changes in the second half worked, culminating in a superb last-gasp winner:
