Trinity Road in the town was closed for several hours on Friday after a man was trapped in his car and required emergency service intervention.
Humberside Fire & Rescue say it was a single vehicle road traffic collision.
A 95-year-old male was physically trapped in his vehicle.
Fire service personnel safely released the casualty using manual manipulation and led the man to safety through the boot of the car.
The vehicle was made safe and placed on all 4 wheels.
The patient was transported to hospital via ambulance and the incident left with Police, there are no current updates on his condition.
