Brid raced into a 2-0 lead inside 13 minutes.
Dan Hartley netted on 11 and within two minutes, Josh Barrett doubled their advantage.
Sam Leverett then made it 3-0 just short of the half hour.
Visitors Ashington found the net early in the second half but it proved to be a mere consolation.
The victory took Brid up two places to fourth-bottom in NPL East.
They are three points from safety.
