Bridlington Town fought to a 0-0 stalemate at rivals Stocksbridge in NPL East, but both could still go down.
Brid are five points clear of second-bottom Brighouse, who play on Tuesday night and still have nine points to play for.
It's been a difficult campaign for Adie Costello's men but they fought hard for their point in South Yorkshire on Saturday.
Stocksbridge are eight points clear and factoring in goal difference know one point would be enough from their last two matches.
Brid also have two games in hand, starting on Saturday at home to fellow strugglers Ossett United, the side below them.
