Brid Back in Front as Rugby Rivals Trade Places

The rivalry between Bridlington and Scarborough continues in rugby's North East 2.

Brid thumped Dronfield 53-15 at Duke's Park on Saturday to move up to fourth.

They leapfrog rivals Scarborough who suffered a 24-7 loss, at Silver Royd, to Leeds side Morley.

Boro head coach Matty Jones spoke to Charlie Hopper after the defeat:

Meanwhile Whitby enjoyed a welcome 26-22 win at White Leys Road.

The Maroons saw off North Shields in a thriller on the Yorkshire Coast.
