Whitby Town lost the first of their Warrington double this week.
The Blues take on Warrington Rylands' neighbours Warrington Town on Tuesday night after defeat at Rylands on Saturday.
It was their first league clash at Gorsey Lane.
Nathan Haslam's men conceded early on and then fell further behind, after the interval and a disputed penalty.
Town had drawn and won at Rylands in the FA Cup in the past two seasons.
The result leaves Whitby outside the relegation zone, but only on goal difference.
Haslam said his side didn't start well:
Kick-off on Tuesday night, at the Towbar Express Stadium, is 7.45pm.
