The popular Barry Sheene Classic meeting returns to Oliver's Mount today and will see an action packed weekend for spectators.
The Barry Sheene Classic meeting brings together a great mix of classic and modern bikes, sidecars and riders.
Organiser Andy Hayes says that the return of racing to Scarborough will hopefully have a positive benefit on the local economy.
The 2-day meeting get's underway with practice and qualifying before the race action begins this afternoon and all day Sunday.
There will be plenty to look at in the display area, as well as great racing and entertainment throughout the weekend.
Andy Hayes says that the famous course will always belong to the local people.
