The A165 Burniston Road in Scarborough is closed for the next few weeks, with a diversion in place.
Northern Gas Networks are doing utility works on Burniston Road in Scarborough. Currently, a stretch near Cross Lane is closed with access for local traffic only.
Local businesses remain open.
Diversion signs take traffic in and out of Scarborough via the A171 Scalby Road.
The work is set to last until 22nd January.
