North Yorkshire Coroner’s office is asking for help to find the family of a man from Houghton-le-Spring who died in Scarborough at the weekend.
Ivan McCormick, 73, of Byron Terrace Houghton Le Spring, near Sunderland, sadly died while staying at a hotel in Scarborough on 30 August 2020.
Officers have been unable to trace his next of kin and are appealing to family members or anyone who might have known Ivan and can help locate his family, to contact them.

There are no suspicious circumstance surrounding Ivan’s death.
