Additional COVID testing stations will be operating in the Scarborough Borough over the holiday period after an increase in the Borough's infection rate over the last two weeks.
Public Health Consultant, Dr Victoria Turner says that mobile units will be deployed in Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and Thorton-le-Dale the coming days in addition to the permanent testing facilities in Scarborough.
Anyone in the country who is showing coronavirus symptoms is eligible to book a test to find out if they have the virus. Tests can be booked via the NHS COVID Test System
