Westbound traffic is diverting through Rillington itself whilst eastbound traffic is diverting along the A169 and A170.
The A64 was closed at Rillington due to a burst water main which has resulted in a large depression in the road surface.
Yorkshire Water have been in attendance to assist in repairing the damaged water main, and Highways contractors are on scene to repair the road surface damage.
The road is expected to reopen tomorrow (Thursday 4th August).
