The cash will buy new rope rescue kit for the volunteer rescue service.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain rescue team have been able to add new essential kit to their rescue land-rovers after receiving a one thousand pound donation from Scarborough charity 'Our Co'.
The Our Co team responded to a Coast Appeal they heard on This is the Coast.
