At least 10 people have died as extreme weather conditions, including a powerful typhoon and flash flooding, swept across many parts of China.
The deaths were reported in the northwestern province of Gansu, where flash floods triggered by a period of sudden heavy rain also left 23 people injured, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
Rescue operations were continuing after some tourists who were camping were left trapped by the conditions.
China issued its highest alert for flash floods after Typhoon Noul brought torrential rain to many areas in southern and central regions.
The typhoon was the strongest to hit the country this year and came after it had struck the Philippines, where government officials said at least three people had died.

In China, an unspecified number of tourists were rescued from the Jiuzhaigou national park after mudslides triggered by the rain, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
The Jiuzhaigou valley in southwestern China is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its waterfalls, pools, lakes and snow-capped peaks - but officials said access to a number of scenic areas was being stopped "due to mudslides" on Monday.
Water and meteorological officials jointly issued a red warning for further flash floods for Monday across a number of Chinese provinces, including Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Xinjiang.
Typhoon Noul weakened to a tropical storm on Sunday after making landfall along the coast of southern China.
More than 801,000 people had been relocated for safety in the province of Guangdong by Sunday, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
In Hong Kong, officials said around 350 flights were cancelled on Sunday and about 2,000 passengers were left stranded at the airport over the weekend.
At least 21 people were injured as the typhoon swept across the city, according to the authorities in Hong Kong.
