A woman has been injured in a suspected dog attack in Skegness, police say.
Officers were called to Drummond Road at 7.28pm on Saturday following reports that a woman was attacked by a dog in the street.
They found the woman with significant facial injuries, and ambulance staff who also attended took her to hospital for treatment.
Lincolnshire Police said officers remained at the scene last night as they were "in the process of detaining the dog", which they believed was inside a property.
They will remain at the scene to carry out inquiries as part of their investigation.
