Extra police patrols will be visible across North Yorkshire this Easter Weekend as people enjoy the first weekend since the ending of the stay at home rule.
North Yorkshire Police say they will be stepping up patrols over the Easter Weekend around coastal resorts and key beauty spots in North Yorkshire.
The end of the stay at home rule this week means people are now free to take day trips over the weekend but the rule of six remains in force and social distancing still needs to be maintained.
