A £1m project hopes to help improve the bathing water quality at Scarborough South Bay.
The official annual bathing water quality figures for Scarborough's South Bay should be available in the next couple of weeks.
The water quality in South Bay has been rated as poor since 2016.
Paul Carter from Yorkshire Water says work on improving the quality has continued this year with a £1m project to better understand the causes of the poor quality water.
Speaking to County Councillors this week Mr Carter said the predictive model will help them figure out how to further improve the situation.
