Whitby Town Return to Midweek Home Action

The Blues are aiming to put further daylight between themselves and the NPL Premier relegation zone with victory tonight.

Town take on Hebburn Town at the Towbar Express Stadium on Tuesday.

Gary Liddle's men are aiming to complete a double over the Tyne & Wear outfit.

Earlier in the season, under former boss Nathan Haslam, Whitby won 6-2 in the away clash between the sides.

Liddle, who was appointed manager in October, is hoping to complete back to back wins for the first time as Blues chief, after Saturday's 2-1 win at rivals Leek Town.

Match-winning midfielder Michael Woods is set for a home debut, after joining from Scarborough Athletic, last week and netting, in Staffordshire, at the weekend.

As well as long-term casualties, Jake Charles and Soni Fergus, there's an injury doubt over Nathan Thomas, who limped out of Saturday's victory early on.

Kick-off is 7.45pm.
