Whitby Town Pick Up Crucial Double

The Blues had already beaten Warrington Town 4-0 earlier in the season.

Lee Bullock and Jason Kennedy's men then scored a pivotal 2-0 victory away in Cheshire on Saturday.

It was a dominant first half display which saw Harley Dawson break the deadlock inside 18 minutes.

Layton Watts then made it 2-0 just before half-time with a clinical finish when one-on-one with the Warrington keeper.

Here's how it sounded on This Is The Coast Extra with Paul Connolly and Liam Ryder:

Whitby are now five points clear of the NPL Premier relegation zone going into the Easter games.

They host league leaders FC United of Manchester, at the Towbar Express Stadium, on Good Friday at 3pm.
