Essential maintenance work at Flixton Carr Bridge between Staxton and Seamer will now be rescheduled.
National Highways, formerly Highways England were due to re-waterproof the bridge, replace the expansion joints which absorb its natural movement, resurface the carriageway and renew road markings and studs.
However, the work will now be rescheduled for a later date due to a clash with other essential works.
