Boro Manager Jono Greening has thanked Theo Chapman for his efforts as he departs for a new opportunity.
In a statement posted by Scarborough Athletic this evening, boss Jono Greening said:
“I would like to say a big thank you to Theo for all his efforts in a difficult season. He slotted in well with the lads and everyone loved him. We all wish him well in the next chapter of his football career.”
Scarborough's battle for a playoff place continues this Saturday with an away trip to bottom-placed Leamington.
The hosts have only won 5 from 37 games this season and are 16 points from safety in National League North.
Boro will be without star man Luca Colville, suspended. And Alex Wiles could miss the rest of the season after picking up an injury on Saturday.
Alex Purver looks set to return after his suspension. And Harry Green will be hoping to return from injury too.
Valley Bar Seadogs are putting on a bus to the game. Find out how to join them here.
If you can't make the match, John Collins will bring you full match commentary on This Is The Coast Extra from shortly before kick off.
