There are signs that school trips are beginning to return to attractions on the Yorkshire Coast.
The School summer term is usually a key time for School trips and that is is usually big business for some of the Yorkshire Coast's attractions.
The lockdown has obviously had a big impact on schools ability to organise day trips, but there are now signs that the demand is returning.
Gareth Davies is from the North Yorkshire Water Park at Wykeham, he says they have bookings from this week.
School residential trips have been decimated by the COVID outbreak with schools unable to organise their traditional annual expeditions.
In North Yorkshire it has lead to the mothballing of the county councils outdoor activity centres.
Gareth Davies says many schools are looking to book day trips instead to deliver some of the outdoor activity experience for pupils, he thinks the residential centres could adapt to do the same.
