Scarborough's Cricket Season Starts Today

The town's cricket club visits Yorkshire Academy as the new Yorkshire Premier North campaign begins.

Pat Roberts' Scarborough First Team meet the cream of the county's young players, when they tackle Yorkshire Academy, at Leeds, on Saturday.

Former Zimbabwe international swing bowler Piet Rinke is one of a number of debutants.

Folkton and Flixton start their York & District Premier season too, they're also on their travels, to Hull Zingari.

Meanwhile, in Division One East, Bridlington are away to Sutton on Hull.

Whitby are playing their second game, after a heavy defeat, at Sedgefield, last week.

Kai Morris' men host Middlesbrough Seconds, at the Turnbull Ground, in North Yorkshire South Durham Division One.
