The iconic Grand Hall at Scarborough Spa is set to become a bustling hub of industry activity this Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, as it hosts the annual Yorkshire Hospitality, Tourism & Business Expo
Organised by the Scarborough Hospitality Association in partnership with Bookers, the event aims to connect the region's diverse hospitality and retail sectors following a period of significant growth.
The exhibition, which runs from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, is designed to provide a platform for local companies to showcase their offerings to a concentrated audience of trade professionals.
This year’s event is expected to be larger than ever, featuring an impressive 160 stands. This marks an increase from the 140 exhibitors hosted in 2025, an event that successfully drew over 1,500 attendees.
Lynn Jackson, Vice President of the Scarborough Hospitality Association emphasised the trade-focused nature of the gathering, noting the variety of services available to business owners.
"We've got our annual hospitality exhibition down at the spa which is it's going to be massive this year that we've got 160 stalls all too this year. It's 160 stands.
This is for the business people of the area it's not open to the public cuz it is very trade orientated. But it is very much if you want advice, you need an accountant, there's literally there's loads of people coming. There's food offerings. There's just all sorts. They've got till services, all sorts coming,"
Lynn highlighted the efficiency and community spirit the event fosters.
"If you're a company, you'll have a representative that will go around and see individual businesses. But when they do an exhibition like this, all those businesses that they do business with can come in and see them. You can see a lot more people and you can also interest a lot more people in what you're offering.
We're definitely out along the Sun Court this year. You name it, we've got everything from beer and wine to ice cream. Lovely Italian ice cream at that.
People like coming. The exhibitors like to come. People are very friendly. We are by nature on the Yorkshire Coast anyway, aren't we?"
The Scarborough Hospitality Association has confirmed that the event is free to attend, though it remains strictly for businesses only and is not open to the general public. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of sectors, including food and drink suppliers, attractions, and service providers. Previous exhibitors have included industry names such as Wold Top Brewery, Betton Farm, Hopwells Limited, and Adverset.
Organisers view the Expo as an unparalleled opportunity for independent producers to promote valuable business-to-business connections within the thriving tourism industry of the Yorkshire Coast.
