Tickets for Scarborough Athletics promotion play off final against Warrington on Bank Holiday Monday sold out last night.
The tickets went on general sale at 9pm, after going on sale to Season Ticket holders on Wednesday and Member Shareholders earlier on Thursday.
There was so much demand for the tickets that the third party ticket website crashed for a time due to the large number of people trying to get hold of tickets.
Club Chairman Trevor Bull says they could have filled the stadium twice over.
Trevor Bull says the massive demand for tickets is a mixed blessing, showing huge support for the club but meaning some fans have missed on being at the match. Trevor says the club are working on other ways to ensure fans can follow the action.
This is the Coast will broadcast full commentary on the game on DAB and Online in a special programme live from the Flamingo Land Stadium on Monday from 2pm.
Trevor says the club have been overwhelmed by the show of support from fans wanting to get tickets and says the demand has come from far and wide.
Trevor says Monday's game will now set a new attendance record for the Flamingo Land Stadium.
