Scarborough Athletic beat Middlesbrough U23 2-1 in the final of the North Riding Senior Cup.
The Seadogs rounded off their season by picking up the Silverware at Middlesbrough's Riverside stadium on Thursday in the CLS North Riding Senior Cup Final.
It's the fourth time that Boro have lifted the trophy having previously succeeded in the 2018-19, 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.
Boro went a goal ahead after 23 minutes when Alex WIles slid the ball past the keeper into the bottom right corner. The Seadogs found the back of the net again in the 40th minute but the goal was disallowed for offside.
Boro took their goal advantage into the break but 14 minutes into the second half Middlesbrough equalised, there was however only a nine minute wait until Boro regained the lead when Greeny picked up the ball outside the box and unleashed a thunderbolt of an effort which beat the keeper into the top of the goal.
There were further chances for Boro who kept hold of the lead through to the final whistle.

Manager Jono Greening was delighted with the win.
"Absolutely. Fantastic night for the club. First and foremost, I thought it was a really good game of football. I thought it was really entertaining. There was, some great play by both teams.
I think, their keepers had, probably six worldly saves. It's one of those where you won a low and you've had loads of chances and you're thinking is it gonna be one of those nights? They started off second half really well. Kept the ball really well, really frustrated us.
Obviously got the goal back and then it opened up again and probably played into our hands a little bit and then we've had even more chances really. But it was really nice to obviously get the winner.
Great night of football. Obviously pleased to win the game. Pleased to win the trophy. Lads are all buzzing and it's a real nice way to end the season."
Jono says he was pleased not only with winning a trophy but also with the way the team played the game.
"It's brilliant to win a trophy. Brilliant to win a competition.
Obviously, everything that's got been going on behind the scenes it's been one of those seasons where, we've played some really good stuff, but, injuries have really, derailed our season really in terms of the league position but we won't do well in, in this cup.
We were playing a really good team fantastic stadium, obviously, where I played for three years. And the boys were really up for it. I think that showed everyone, give a hundred percent.
And it, some of our player today was absolutely unbelievable, really."
"when we got the ball and we broke at pace, you know, with Reidy and Greeny down one side and Keys and Luca down the other side and Wilesy just behind Benno, I thought we caused some real harm.
And uh, like I said, we probably, we could've been three or four nil up at our time. And then second half would probably add. Three or four really good chances as well. I remember Reedy obviously hitting the crossbar with that shot, Brownies had a chance. Greed's had a couple more. The keeper has made, like I said, five or six, like really, really outstanding saves"
The win brings Boro's season to an end and Greening says his focus now is preparing the team for next season against the backdrop of the ongoing uncertainty over where the club will be playing it's home games.
"I don't really know much, too much what's happening. I know there's been a few meetings this week, but I haven't been told anything at the moment. I think I've said to, said to you in Previous weeks, it's quite easy for me 'cause I just concentrate on the footballing side.
I, I'd hate to be the chairman and Fred and all the directors, but, like I said, you know, we trust them a hundred percent. All the fans obviously want it to work out. We've got a great group, group of players who always give, give the all which show again tonight. And, you know, we just keep pushing week by week."
