A first half strike saw Kidderminster inch past the Seadogs on day one of the National North season.
The hosts' winner came on 12 minutes when the ball was tapped in at the back post.
Goalkeeper Ryan Whitley made a string of fine saves.
In-between the ball was cleared off the goal-line from Dom Tear and the hosts had one disallowed.
Harry Green fired over, eight minutes from time, he thanked Boro's 120 travelling fans at full-time:

Boro boss Jono Greening told SAFC TV his side played well, despite the result:
The Seadogs are back in action, on Saturday, at Bridlington Town, when AFC Fylde provide the opposition with a 3pm start.
