Will Norman top-scored with 61 with Casey Rudd adding 30.
Some vital runs at the end saw Elliot Traves (20) and Adam Newington (24) put on an unbroken 43 for the seventh wicket.
Brid eventually posted 179/7 from 42 overs with rain meaning an early end to the innings.
Visitors Cottingham were always struggling as Rudd took four wickets opening the bowling and the Hull side subsided to 26/3.
Traves took 3/17 late on with two wickets for Ricky Robinson and another for Newington.
Cottingham were bowled all out for 156, in the 38th over, losing by 23 runs.
In the sae division, it was a 22-over a side slog for Folkton & Flixton and Welton.
The hosts made 111/8 batting first as Elliot Hatton took 5/23 and Charlie Colley 3/13.
In reply, Folkton & Flixton posted 100/9 with Will Hutchinson top-scoring with 26 from 28 balls, losing by 11 runs.
In North Yorkshire South Durham Division One, Whitby put hosts Billingham Synthonia in to bat.
The home side posted 254/8 from their 50 overs.
There were two wickets each for Joel Lloyd, Tom Steyert and Ricky Hall, with Kai Morris grabbing the other.
Rain prevented Whitby from responding, instead they took 10 points as the match was abandoned.
