North Yorkshire Police officers will be out and about on Saturday as part of Operation Trailblaze.
They're targeting antisocial use of off-road vehicles in the area.
The force released the following statement:
'Officers from your local Neighbourhood Policing Team are out on patrol on Saturday as part of Operation Trailblaze, targeting the illegal and anti-social use of off-road vehicles in and around Rural Scarborough.
'We’re working to:
- Protect our countryside and wildlife.
- Prevent damage to forestry and natural habitats.
- Tackle nuisance behaviour linked to off-road bikes and vehicles.
'š®āļø You may see officers on foot, in vehicles, or using off-road motorcycles to reach remote areas. We’re here to listen, engage, and take action where needed.
'š If you witness off-road vehicles being used illegally or causing disruption, please report it via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
