A goal in each half settled Pickering Town's final Northern Counties East Premier Division clash of the season, on Saturday.
Hosts Rossington took the lead in the first half against the struggling Pikes.
It's been a difficult season for the Mill Lane outfit, who knew they were safe after bottom side Maltby Main lost last week.
The South Yorkshire side clinched victory with a late winner to seal a 2-0 success.
The result means Pikes finish second-bottom, though only Maltby were relegated.
Mill Lane will now play host to Pickering Cricket Club through the summer.
