
The team at a Pickering farm shop and café are celebrating after their farm shop and café reached the final of the Yorkshire and Humber Family Business Awards 2025.
Pickering’s Cedarbarn Farm Shop, Café and Miniature Railway has been shortlisted in the Agri-Food Excellence and the Retail Innovators categories of the annual awards that champion family businesses throughout Yorkshire and Humberside.

In the Agri-Food Excellence category, Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café faces competition from Drewtons, The Balloon Tree Farm Shop and Café and Pasture House Holiday Cottages and share a place in the final of the Retail Innovators category with Floorstore Group, Peach Hampers and The Hearing Place.
The team will learn whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony at the Royal Armouries Hall in Leeds on 21st November.
Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café began as a small PYO strawberries operation from a caravan in 1995 and is now home to a thriving farm shop, 80 seater café and miniature railway.
